Matrox G400 and Everquest

I removed a Voodoo 3 2000(pci)card from my system and installed a Matrox Millennium G400(agp). Now, I cannot get Everquest to run correctly. I am not sure if the game uses OpenGL or D3D. Whenever I enter the world the screen is white, but I can see text boxes (non 3d items).

I have direct x ver 8a and all tests pass in dxdiag. I have the latest drivers from Matrox. I've tried to remove the Voodoo card drivers but not sure if I got them all. Also tried changing the aperture size in BIOS.

My system is
PII 400
256 meg ram
Win98 SE
SE440BX-2 motherboard

Any ideas where to go from here. Thnx

I play way too much EQ...

I've heard that sometimes it doesn't work right with DirectX 8. I don't know anybody who's running it on a G400. If its working with other 3d apps/games, the only thing you can do is call Verant.
