does Graphic Card for an old computer help

I have Pentium 166 MMX with 64mb and no graphic card(no this is not an old post , i use it mainlly for 2d programs i dont use it for games at all
and I woundered if i will add a Graphic Card Like GeForce2 MX 32mb will i see a dramatic improve with performance of the computer
and if it will what cheap graphic card would you recommand me to add

On older 3d accelerated games- yes. GAmes like Quake 2, Unreal, Tomb Raider, etc. On newer games, you don't stand a chance.
