About two months ago after loading new camera software I started getting the
blue screen about once every 20 boots. I removed the new software and now I
get the blue screen about every other boot. I get the XP startup screen then
it goes blue before the desktop comes up. I tried reloading XP but because my
boot disk is XP home SP1 or whatever and SP2 has been downloaded, it will not
let me "downgrade" to the original XP home. I ran diagnostics on my hard
drive and everything passed, so it seems to be a sofware issue to me. Please
let me know how to trick SP2 ino letting me reload.

It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about
the problem

Is it just a blank blue screen, or is there some information on it?\

If there is information on the blue screen then you need to give us
that information, just as it appears on the screen.

Good luck
