I have tested my systeem with the 3d mark 2001, the result was a score of 1819, I'm not sure if this is a good or bad score, my system specs are, AMD 9ooTb, 256MB, Abit KT7raid, Daytona(Geforce) AGPcard32MB.
In the test result are no video MB shown, however when i run the 3d mark 2000 test, all 32MB is found, by the way, the score on 3d 2000 is 4800.
Latest detonator drivers are installed (10.20)
Can anyone tell me how(if necessary) I can get a higher score?

Well 3d mark 2001 is using directx 8. While 3d mark 2000 used directx 7. Well Geforce256 and Geforce2 cards are really for Directx 7. Radeon is really like fully supported 7 and alittle supported 8. Geforce is really for dircetx 8.

Nice Intel and AMD users get a Cookie.... Yummy

thats not too bad a score for a gf2 card... but 3dmark2001 is really for the gf3 and other cards soon to come out... with benchmarking ur setup for gf2 stick to 3dmark2000

To be honest, that is not that high of a score. I have an ASUS A7M266 1.2ghz, 256meg DDR Ram, Geforce2 Ultra. My 3dmark2001 score is 4701 and 3dmark2000 score is 9756.

You can try to overclock your video card, that ussually squeaks out a few hundred points. Also, make sure V-sync and FSAA is disabled.

What you need is a new graphics card. I recommend a geforce2 ULTRA 64meg DDR. Stay away from geforce3's right now. There is no games that can use the new technology, thus its worthless to spend the extra bucks. You can pick up a nice new Ultra right now for under $250 bucks that will do ALMOST anything a geforce3 can do(for now).

I agree
put your extra dosh away for an upgrade when they've got some use for the GF3..4...7.. (ultras are still a fraction costly per performance point - but relative to the GF3... NOT. (its faster too)
The hardware has to come first before developers can put functions into games but by the time that happens there will have been 2 maybe 3 iterations of the card and you'll be wondering perhaps (if the price is almost half that now) whether it was the right choice. Eg GTS = 1/2 Ultra price
