Error Message:Desktop- Active desktop cannot find Active Desktop HTML File....

As far as we know we have never used Active Desktop.

Display Properties Menu only has 2 tabs: screen saver and settings

Do not get Active Desktop with right click on desktop.

Have a message on a black screen with bad grammar trying to sell spyware
even after cleaning system with virus sacn and Ad-Aware Personnal.

Ran windows updates.

At one point found display uses Nividia Corporation s/w for Dell 2650
(update came with Microsoft windows upgrades.

How do I get the computer working correctly again without the message
"WARNING! YOU'RE IN DANGER!" etc in black over my wall paper?
