I have a pretty standard XP Pro installation that has been stable up to now.
I bought Norton SystemWorks (with Ghost) primarily so that I could create a
drive image on a second drive for emergencies. About 30 seconds after I
install and reboot to the desktop I get a bluescreen with an error giving
'Driver IRQL not less or equal'. Anyone come across this Norton/XP problem
with their setup? I've tried installing Ghost on its own but the same
bluescreen occurs, although it takes a little longer to appear. Uninstall
cures the problem.

Two things... check out http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/consumer.html first. They have always been helpful when I have talked with them. I have
the premier edition as well but without problems. Number 2, I would suggest
removing some of Norton's resident services to see if that helps. Norton is
a real resourse HOG and you may have used up too much. AT the very least
uninstall and then install only select portions till you find the specific
culprit to contact Symantec support about. Good Luck!
