I m using GF2MX for counter strike online game and the FPS is 70. Now somebody advise me to change to ASUS-V7700 GF2GTS so that my FPS will increase. Now the problem it doesnt works instead I m getting 30 FPS. My monitor is NEC MultiSync XP21, P3, 256Ram, 20GB, 1Gb, and playing online with T1. Please advise how do I increase the FPS using the GF2GTS.

Thanks for the advise, i ve removed and install the graphic driver and also using the latest directX..

First make sure it is not sharing an IRQ with anything else.
Then go into display properties and dissable V-SYNC for D3D and OPEN-GL.
Next dissable Anti-Aliasing(sp?).
Set OPEN-GL to page flip mode.
Also set memory useage to highest available for D3D and OPEN-GL.
SET your AGP Apperture size to 64 mb in the bios. You can try higher settings but sometimes windows has problems with higher settings.

I aint signing nothing!!!

your problem isnt the hardware, theres a cs config file in the cs directory which normally caps the framerate to 70 fps. I changed it to the maximum of 200 fps and now my framerate went from 70 to 90
