ELSA GeForce 3

I have just got a GeForce 3 and have run the MadOnion Benchmark against it, and it did really badly somehting like 1250. Has anyone got any idea what I can do or if there are any drivers I need to get?

If you post some info about you hw, then perhaps we have something to contriubte...

Like:
- Mb
- CPU @ XXXXMhz
- VCard @ XXX/XXXMhz
- Drivers for vcard/mb/DirectX etc


I get 6259 with the same vcard...

AMD Athlon 1Ghz
Abit KT7A Mother board
256 MB PC133 SDRam
Gladiac 920 Geforce 3 64Mb DDR AGP
Maxtor 30Gb 7,200

I am using the drivers off of the Setup CD, unfortunately I am not that technical so don't really have a clue.

For starters, try downloading the latest drivers for your hardware.

They're no always the fastest but stable enough. Elsa has their own driver based on the Detonator 12.40 for instance on their website.


That's about it, if you don't wan't to fiddle around with overclocking and BIOS optimizations...

You'll have to optimize if want to reach the high scores... But to be able to optimize you need to be experienced, to be experienced you need to study and experiment.

There are plenty of guides and programs that will help on overclocking your CPU/Vcard out there...
