Double Image

Why is it that when my computer is running the desktop is one image, yet right before I shut down the image changes to a desktop image I had awhile ago?

Um, I'm not sure, but it probably has to do with a, um, like a master account in which u see the one background. But u use a normal account type thing. Shouldn't really matter.
