where is the list of programs that start up with windows, and how can I access it? It is slipping my mind at the moment and I need to edit the list. Thanks.

In Start==>Programs==>Startup is the list of applications. If you need to remove the registry keys the easiest way is with Startup.exe. You can download it (very small).

What os are you running? msconfig doesn't work on 2000.
