I m a student of aerospace engineering need to buy a laptop to run software like MATLAB and HYPERMESH etc. AND i m also an astronomer and an astro-photographer and need hardcore editing of images and usage of softwares to analyze data related to the same.
moreover i m a bit into gaming

In a weeks time i have to buy a laptop in the range of 35k to 45k (Indian currency) as i have to buy some stuff for camera and a go-to telescope all at same time so the price range is very limited.
I am really seeking for some advice from you guys.

i have selected these two can u please tell me which one should i go for, or even new ideas are welcome.

Between these two laptops, all depends on the price but the Samsung has more to offer.

General Specifications:

SAMSUNG
Samsung NP350V5C-S02IN Laptop (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 1TB/ Win7 HP/ 2GB Graph) (Silver)

ASUS
Asus K53SM-SX010D Laptop (2nd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 750GB/ DOS/ 2GB Graph)
(Brown Metal)

Processor Comparison:
Samsung: 3rd generation Intel i5 3210M Ivy Bridge
vs
Asus: 2nd generation Intel i5 2450M Sandy Bridge

The Samsung includes Windows 7 64bit vs Free DOS on the Asus, it includes a 3rd Generation Ivy Bridge i5 Processor versus 2nd generation Sandy Bridge on the Asus... it includes a larger 1TB hard drive vs a 750GB on the Asus and includes a better monitor. If the prices are comparable, the Samsung is way better choice.
