What about heat - sure all your fans are working and have room to dissipate
heat?
Updated all your hardware drivers?
Scanned for viruses/trojans/worms?
Scanned for spyware/adware/malware?
Checked your memory for errors?
Checked your hard disk drive(s) for errors?
Defragmented?

screen just turn black followed by a reboot?..
