I plan on buying a Asus v7700 GeForce II GTS card.. I'll be running it on an overclocked 440BX motherboard.. What type of real performance difference would I notice between the 32MB version and the 64MB version of the same card..???

Effectively you wouldn't notice any difference, at least not with today's generations of games.

If you planned to have that card in use for the next.. oh... 2 or 3 years, you'd probably want the 64MB version. As it is, the extra memory is only useful in preventing AGP texturing, whereby system memory is used to hold game textures - resulting in slow access through the AGP pipeline. nVidia's current texture compression scheme(I forget what it's called, sue me), introduced in their drivers a while ago, prevents the need for large ammounts of onboard memory. The 32MB is all you really need right now.. anything extra just costs extra and looks pretty.
