I got it to go now, I just reboot and tried again, but it took forever, is
that normal???
I don't think spyware was the problem. I just had a problem with other
things and went through all the spyware checks and tests, and discovered I
had a clicker virus. Now everything is clear and all fixed up. But it did
cause some changes, maybe it caused this too.

And what are all these different programs?? I've got "Complete Registry
Cleaner", "Registry Mechanic", "Spybot", "Ad Aware", "Hijack This",
"Stinger", CCleaner", "AVG", and then there's the Cleanup and Defragment
tools. I do all these fairly regularly, and they all seem to find different
things. I did'nt know about the error checker, so this was the first time I
ran it.

How often should I run these programs, and in what order??
