If I try to use verifier.exe to check out driver problems, I get the
old BSOD. I have almost never gotten verifier to run on my WINXP PRO
machine although it usually will on the XP-Home machine. It makes it
VERY hard to trace a driver problem.

I don't remember now. What I want is the way to run verifier to have
the ability in the general case, not a specific BSOD. That is useless
in any case since the problem is likely that the bad driver steeped on
something else and so the error is a false one, not the real problem.
THAT is what verifier is for.
