Hello

I think this may be a virus or effect of a virus. I boot up a Windows XP
Home machine and get to logon screen. I login and then get a blue screen
with this text:

Security warning

A fatal error in IE has occurred at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD VMM(01) + 00010E36.
Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.HTML.smitfraud.c

* system cannot function in normal mode.
please check you security settings

* Scan your PC with any available antivirus / spyware remover program to fix
the problem

Then I am stuck - cannot do anything

If I go into Safe mode - never actually gets anywhere.

How would I solve this problem?
