This morning, I was on a skype call using the headphones and then had to leave the table but stepped on the headphone wires and pulled it from the laptop. When I got back I realised that the ends of the headphone connectors were a little bent and the laptop was giving me a high pitched noise when it was disconnected from the head phones (only when it is on high volume). When it is connected to the headphones, the left headphone doesn't work too well unless i push the connector into the laptop. Has serious damage been caused to the laptop and how much will it cost approximately to get it repaired?
