Hey guys,

Ever since i re-installed win 2k on my system, when i play any game that require 3d in full screen mode, HL, Project IGI, etc. the graphics are really flakey, its hard to describe, but when you move around really fast or run, its like stuff in the background pops in for 1/2 a second and it does this a lot. Make the game VERY un-playable.

I have the leadtek winfast Geforce 2 MX DH, and i'm really not too sure whats going on. Any thoughts??

Sounds like a wrong device driver was loaded for your MX if it was working correctly before. How about reinstalling after a complete removal of your graphic card drivers. Also you might want to try serveral different versions of reference drivers including betas.

Also i'm runnign the Leadtek drivers right now.

Don't ask me which one will be the best, I've havn't a clue. I am using the 12.41 (official) which doesn't run as good as the 12.20 ones previously. I will be trying the 12.60 drivers since they are suppose to be Athlon enhanced vice the PentiumIV enhanced 12.41 drivers.

I am also running 12.20 on win2k, didn't bother upgrading to 12.4x, dunno about 12.60...

If you happen to be using Geforce Tweak and selected the "fast" setting you should disable Force 16-bit Z-Buffer under the OpenGL tab.

Yea i loaded up the 12.20 drivers and now its PERFECT!!!
