I was going to get a GeForce3 for my PC but have now been offered a Qudra2 Pro (A workstation graphics card) at a very good price. What should I go for how would it fair up in games beter worse not alot of differance.

My understanding was that the QuadroII pro is the equivalent to a GeForce 2 when it comes to playing games. If games are you primary concern, I'd say go with the GeForce 3 unless the QuadroII pro is significantly cheaper, and somehow I doubt it is.

yes, the quadro2 Pro is just a geforce with drivers for 3d apps. If you are into pro apps and have the money then get the quadro and it will be ok for games, otherwise get the geforce 3. If games are the main reason for the video card get the geforce 3 for sure.
