Hi, Im thinking of buying a gaming laptop but I dont want to spend the earth so I had a look and found this one http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/range/novatecheliten15...

I currently have a desktop Pc but wanted to play games away from home or just in other rooms, my main question is what sort of performance will I get from this Laptop compared to my desk top pc, will it be worse better or just the same?

My Desktop pc specs are:

AMD PhenomII X$ B60 3.30ghz
Nvidia GTX460 1Gig GPU
4 Gig Ram (unsure of speed)

Games I play are Battlefeild 3, Wow, Aion, Farcry 3, Deus-Ex, Crysis and a few RTS's

Am I likely to see a performance increase with the latop over the desktop or will I need to spned more on the laptop?

Any advice will be grateful

Thanks

The video card on the laptop is about 10% slower than your desktop, but the CPU should be faster. It may be comparable in overall speed...

It would be decent - I would say comparable to the desktop. The biggest limitation on laptops are you get freedom to move around, but often the hardware isn't as fast as a desktop.
