CPx power on problem

Hi.

My CPx doesn't respond at present to the "on" button. Worked fine last time
I used it, now I get nothing - no lights, no noise. Also the charge light
doesn't illuminate even though there's a light on the mains adaptor and a
new battery was bought three weeks ago.

Has anyone else experienced asimilar problem? Also do both external power
and battery power route through the same internal "PSU"?
