Hi guys, im new here.

i have a problem here. suspected to be related to my mobo.

My PC spec is dual P3 1 gig on a MSI 694D Pro (MS-6321) Dual Processor mobo. ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, 256MB SDRAM, running on win XP Pro, with all the necessary service pack for the OS and the latest drivers for all the peripherals (catalyst, via 4 in 1, etc.....).

A week ago, i got myself a copy of Rallisport Challenge, get the game installed, but the screen freeze and turn black as soon as i enter the car selection part of the game.

ctrl+alt+del wont even work to restart the PC, i have to press the reset button. and everytime this happen i would get a message like some sort of driver/device failure to perform a drawing task etc..... and as usual, the winXP would also put the blame on the display card.

The same thing ever happened when i run 3Dmark 2001 SE, the game freeze and turn black as soon as it runs the first test, (the car race test). at first i thought that it was the display card's malfunctioning, but after swapping another Radeon 9000 Pro from my fren's pc into my AGP slot, it still happened, and when we run my display card on HIS PC, it works perfectly. so it shouldnt be the v card.

I've read some of ur postings about various game play frozen and such, and also some suggested solutions such as increasing the V-core or uninstalling the antivirus. well,
neither work.

I suspected the Mobo is the culprit, so i would appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to pour around and read this post and help me :D, coz i dun think i afford another or new mobo.

thanks

btw, im currently having a 300w Power supply, could it be that this is not enough and thus causing the game to freeze?
