Did I get hacked?

Hey everyone,

I was browsing the web and all of a sudden I had my entry "I" mouse pointer thing move from one box to another (as if I had pressed tab but I don't think I did). I suspected hacking so I d/c my internet and ran a scan with AVG. Came up with nothing, clean results.

Then I notice on my desktop something bizarre

Then this happened with Firefox

Are these indications of a hacker or could it be that my computer is just overheating? Is there any other way to check to see if my PC has been hacked? Thank you in advanced, I greatly appreciate it.

AVG is a heap of ... pants. Seriously it detects the minimum. If you're worried, spend the $30 or so on Kaspersky or download avira (in my opinion its one of the better free avs) I can't actually see your photos because they're blocked in work but I'd suggest getting a decent AV first of all.

So I used Avira and this is what it found and quarantined for me:

[DETECTION] Contains recognition pattern of the EXP/ASF.GetCodec.Gen exploit
[DETECTION] Is the TR/Dldr.Adload.rsc Trojan

Were either of these threats capable of allowing a user to see what I was doing on my computer? Also some people say its OK to run Windows Defender and Avira at the same time. Others say not. I'm running both right now and it's not a problem, should I be worried in the future about compatability issues and/or hacking?
