has anyone heard about this card. It is very cheap compared to other geforce2 pro's. I cannot find a review for it or any info other than the msi website. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well that depends on what version your refering too! Are you asking about the Starforce 815 Pro or the Starforce Pro 831? They are both GF2 Pro cards but the Starforce 815 Pro is discontinued. I personally had the Starforce 815 Pro but sent it back last week for replacment due to artifacts at default memory settings. But since it is no longer available at that retailer I hope they give me the Starforce 831, it looks like a way better card layout anyway. Plus im sure the memory is higher quality. As for your question the Starforce 815 Pro was a great card untill it starting with its artifacts and I know many people who have it and can overclock it to near Ultra specs. I don't know anyone with the 831 yet but im sure it will perform same or better than the 815 Pro. If your going to get a GF2 Pro then I have to recomment it because it is a great deal and the memory is even 5ns, not that 5.5 or 6 stuff. Like I said above, if your going to buy it try to get the Starforce Pro 831, or MS-8831. It is the newer version.

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.

I appreciate the input. I meant the 831. I had considered the visiontek geforce2 pro, but the cheapest one I found was $199 on pricewatch. MSI seems to be the better option. Thanks for the help.

I just found out that the 831 may have 5.5ns memory and thats is why it is only $150 vs the $190 that the 815 Pro cost. If you can I would suggest the 815 Pro since it has less latency, but of course that .5ns may not be worth $40 to you. Check pricewatch. and go to video cards then hit search by brand. The 831 starts at $140 on page 4 and the 815 Pro starts at $185 on page 5.

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.

Check out Newegg.com... they had the 64MB MSI GF2 Pro last week listed for $142 + $10 shipping.
