Hello

I admit i didn't do a search first about what i'm going to ask. :)

I have porn loading from the internet continuously now and just cannot get it off. It's not "popups" because i am not at such sites when the loading starts. I`ve looked in different places but just can't find anything. No programs were added that windows identified(it's a shared company pc..lol), ì've emptied the cookie folder, nothing in the start menu and bringing down the taskmanager hasn't shown me anything other than the different occurances of explore that are being openned by who knows what.

If my boss passes by and this porn "Teenage Girls" pops up...i'm done for! lol

HELP

malicious websites, could have stored information deeper than just in the cookies, the answer could be in the lying in the registry. If all else fails, a reformat will clean the problem up, just say you got a nasty virus. If you havent looked at it then somebody else must have, these things dont just happen...

lol, i had to clean by boss's laptop once, hehe. the only way to do that is to find what service is running it. to find out which one, you have to stop programs (which can be stopped by user) in TM one by one, and see which one is, then when you found the file that does it, search for it, and delete it from pc, find every registry entry for that file name as well and remove it too. it might take a little time, but it can be done. note: the file can be renaming itself each time you boot (in my case there was a little .dll, that was writing .exe on each boot), so just work on it a little.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

Sounds like the RB32Blaster or something like worm. Look for and IEDll.exe and loader.exe that are loading at startup. I had a win2k machine infested with that just a while back. It would pop up random porn pages even when nobody was at it. The worst thing was it was one of the front office machines and when somebody was helping a client a page that had sound playing on it loaded. Luckily the employee sitting next to the computer got the window closed before too much "sound" was played. I call called in to fix the problem shortly after.

Error RAID!!! Error RAID!!! Heads crashing down everywhere, oh the humanity!!!!
