My system will arrive on Wed and I need to purchase a graphics card. I have sifted through the boards, but am still having a tough time with the details. I am focussing mainly on a board for gaming. The two boards I am looking at are the:

$168.00: Leadtek Winfast Geforce 2 Pro GTS 64MB 5.5ns DDR RAM 4X AGP Video Card with TV Out-with 64MB 5.5ns DDR memory is running at standard 200/366 Mhz (Core/memory) speed.

Refurbished-$125.00: New-$168.00: ATI Radeon 64MB DDR 4X AGP Video Card Powered by the ATI RADEON graphics processing unit (GPU) Featuring ATIs CHARISMA ENGINE, PIXEL TAPESTRY and VIDEO IMMERSION technologies - VIVO Video in / Video Out - OEM Version

The system:
1.2G 266MHz Athlon
40G RAID
30G 7200rpm Ultra
256M pc133 sdram
DVD, CDROM, Etc.

The two questions I have:
1) which card is better for this system?
2) is there anything i need make sure of with the card (i.e. memory speed, etc.)?

Thanks
Josh

The Radeon 64 Retail have faster clock speeds and ram. The newer Radeon 64 Retail come with 5ns ram and are clocked at 200/200 core/mem vice the older 183/183 speeds earlier. OEM is 166/166 - not worth it. At Rage3d.com you can find the places that have the newer Radeon 64 (SE's). Virtually any new shipment of the Radeon 64 Retail are the SE versions with the newer SE core and faster ram. ATI just quietly started producing these faster speed Radeons. Best Buys also have these if they are a new shipment for $199. On the net you can get them for $150 at a number of places. GOOD DEAL with a feature rich card, good drivers now, excelltent 2d/3d quality, superior video/DVD for a video card.

Great info on the Radeon, though I couldn't find a link to retailers of the SE on Rage3d.
