Basically i need help chosing a video card. But i don't wanna spend $500 on these new cards. Someone recommended the Asus AGP-V6800 DDR. Is that a worthy choice? or is there a better card to go with that's in it's price range or even cheaper? I need it to be good for games like Nascar4, Quake 3 etc.. If this helps out at all i am running a pIII 450 256 megs of ram.

I totally agree. A GeForce 2 Pro is gonna work just fine. Your CPU is getting on the slow side, that is probably going to be your bottleneck.

At this point in time, you might want to upgrade your processor, as it will slow down any game more than your graphics card, what kind of computer do you have?

If it works for you then don't fix it.

Yeah the leadtek is a good deal @ $132, (I own one), but for another 20 bucks I think the Ausus v7700 is a better card, (I own that too)...I say this for the simple reason the Asus drivers are better quality and more compatible.

I'm not in touch with my feeings, and I like it that way!
