Importing folders?

I have saved my OE email folders/sub-foldersfrom my 'old' Windows Me system
onto a CDROM and now want to 'transfer' them onto my new system running XP.

What's the best way of doing this?

Copy them to a folder on the HD and then remove the read only from the files
and then use the import from OE.
