Funky Behaviour with MSI GTS

I have a GeForce2 GTS on an IWill KK266, with a Duron 750 and PC-150 RAM.

Problem: I was getting flicker every 8 seconds while playing Rogue Spear, so I downed the bus clock to 135 which helped a little, but did not eliminate the flicker. So I downloaded the NVIDA v12 drivers and the flicker vanished - even at fsb 150Mhz. But now, in RS, some of the intro/settings windows are appearing smaller than they should be - things get a little funky, and I can only choose between 1280x1024 and 800x600.

Only 1280x1024 and 800x600? That is funky.

Check Display Manager and make sure the correct monitor is listed. If it isn't correct then change it. If it is correct then try finding the <b>.inf</b> file for your monitor and load it. If you don't have one on disk you should find it at the manufacturer's website.
