I'll be buying the whole bundle in september october time and i'm thinking geforce 3 after the price drops from radeon2, or possibly even the radeon 2, but the real question is... is 21 inch monitor for gaming the way to go? will these high end cards be enough to have good quality on these monitors?

I'm looking at a .25 dpi and 1600 resolution at above 70 hz

There are only 3 types of people in this world, those who can count and those who can not!

All cards can handle a 21" monitor, monitor size has little to no affect on the card. So the only real quesstion is "What wil handle 1600x1200 resolution for gaming?" The MX400 or the original MX would be adequate, the Radeon LE would be far better when tweaked than a tweaked MX, or a Radeon 32DDR, Geforce 2 GTS, PRO, Utra, Radeon 64DDR, Radeon VIVO, All in Wonder Radeon, or a Geforce 3, or even a Kyro 2.
I own the GTS, original MX, and Radeon LE TVO, all my cards are excellent in 3d gaming at 1600x1200. Anything better than these cards is simply "icing on the cake".
