I recently did a major upgrade and the only problem i'm having with my 3d card is that things in Counter Strike are extremely dark. Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried changing the gamma, brightness variables but they dont work. Quake3 seems fine, its just CS thats giving me problems

I use this as my little helping hand. I go into the Color Correction (Display properties, Setttings). Change the bightness, contrast and gamma. I will look like s@#$ on the desktop but brighten up your world in CT. The path may vary for you. You may need to go to the GForce menu and advanced.

Play with it until your liking. I have it set so it tough to see the cross haits at times but I can see in the dark too.

Yes the gamma setting isn't maxed out at default but more is better. Well from an addicts perspective at least.
