GeForce3 and 800x600 Problem w/ Driver!

It appears that my new GeForce3 Asus 8200 will not display in 800x600 AT ALL. I have tried drivers from NVidia and Asus as well and neither work. I cannot load Diablo2 with the expansion installed because of its start up in 800x600 and i cant switch to it in Everquest as well, without getting a lockup of my system. Even the desktop display when i use NVidia's own drivers DOESNT EVEN SHOW 800x600 as an option (meaning when you right click on your desktop and try to change the res, etc)

Do any of you own this card and have similar problems? I have called Asus tech support and they deemed it a driver problem.

Are you using a USB mouse? I have a similar problem with a GeForce2 card and the mouse is the last thing I have to try to fix it.

Well i do have a USB trackball mouse hooked up to the system. You say that you used a non-USB mouse and it fixxed the same problem on another system?
