Bridging an existing WLAN to a wired LAN

Hi,

I want to be able to bridge and internet connection that is broadcast
on a wireless lan to a wired lan. Does anyone know of any wireless
bridge/router equipment that would allow me to do this?

I also need to purchase an omni directional antenna with suitable
cable to connect to the above hardware. Any recommendations would be
well recieved!

LinkSys WET11 is one such product. D-Link also makes a midel (DWL-G810), as
does NetGear.

The 802.11b/g definitions within the IEEE specification have not defined the
protocol for bridging, so there is no official standard. Therefore, you're
probably best getting the same brand bridge as the AP you're trying to
connect to.

Each of these products are different, so there is no help we can give you
until you choose one product. There are instructions that come with each
product which will tell you how to configure it to do what you want.
