I have had a minolta digital camera that was hooked via usb to a Windows
Professional PC and was working fine until recently. Now for some
reason, even with the minolta driver loaded it doesn't respond when the
camera is powered on. Any suggestions as to what has happened and how
it can be fixed....? Microsoft auto update is on, so my suspicion is a
patch may have caused this....thanks in advance.

Robert;
First try the camera and cable on a different computer to verify the cable
and camera are OK.
Otherwise contact the Minolta as they would have information if an update
caused problems for their camera.
In that case a newer driver would probably resolve the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the camera does work fine on other
systems. Nothing on the website as of yet addresses the driver issue
though. We will keep looking ... thanks for the response.
