Hi
I have three waps serving my classrooms in the school(Belkin 54g) - I
have 10 xp pc's which access the network via this method. I have all
the waps configured with the same channel and the same ssid - but no
WEP(this is by choice-but will be changed soon). Recently when booting
up the wireless connection asks if it is ok to connect to a wirless
network with no wep enabled and also insists on saying that their is
morer than one wireless network available but only shows one as their
is only one. It can take 4 or 5 goes to then get it to connect. Is
this down to having no WEP? Or a config error on the part of me
besides the WEP - thanks

If the PCs are stationary, you might choose the closest AP and choose it as
the Preferred network. That might stop the delay.
