Hi guys, so just before christmas my power jack has broken on my Samsung NP300E5A. Here is a screenshot of the DC connector this laptop uses:
Basically what it looks like on my laptop is the little black ring in the center has cracks in it in the top right and bottom right, so when I insert the power chord the pin in the center can't connect to it properly and the polarity can't get to what its meant to be in order for the laptop to charge.
I want to try and avoid taking this to a shop as I know you've got to remove pretty much everything and re-solder a new DC jack onto the Laptop, which can be costly.
Is there any workarounds to this at all? I should mention that I do not own a soldering iron.
