Color Correction problems - NEED HELP

The system:
Athlon 1400
256 MB DDR-CAS2
MSI K7 Master Mother Board
Jaton Geforce2 MX400 32MB No TV-Out
OS: Win2k & Win98

I have had problems with Color Correction. The problem is that I never had the tab for it in Win2k. In Win98, every driver release after v12.10 removes the tab.

Why is this happening? Is nVidia removing it? I need color correction because my monitor is very dark, and that makes gaming impossible without a brightness adjuster.

Does anyone else have this problem. I'm considering getting another video card, probably a Geforce2 Pro or Ultra. Do those cards have the color correction tabs in Win2k & Win98. Thanks for any help.

Actually, I was wrong. Every release after 6.50 gets rid of the color correction tab.

Does anyone else have this problem or a fix for it? If not, do the other nVidia Cards, like GF2 Pro or ultra have color correction capabilities? Thanks for any help.

I have the GEForce2Ultra from VisionTek, using the Nvidia referencee drivers, version 12.90 and I have a color correction tab.

Can't we all just overclock?
