Microsoft Loopback Adapter problem

Dear all,

I installed Microsoft Loopback Adapter.
The loopback adapter IP address is set WITHOUT DHCP 192.168.11.1
It is part of the .NET stuff.

My router has DHCP.
In the router, I assigned my PC with DNS name "abc".
PC IP address is 192.168.0.2.

When I disabled the Loopback adapter and ping "abc", it pings 192.168.0.2.

However, if the Looopback adapter is enabled and ping "abc", it pings
192.168.11.1.

I do not want the loopback adapter to grab that DNS name.

Any ideas?
