For best antialiasing & faster 3d desiging (Vector Works) i heard that 3d labs offer good products. Would these products be better than Nvidia Geforce3, quadro pro 2 & Quadro DCC?

Is geforce3 better than Quadro pro2?

(ignore price issues)

Another question,

thanks a lot in advance

for open gl the specialist cards are a lot better than the geforce3...

you do not strengthen the weak by weakening the strong

I think Tom reviewed a couple of pro cards a little while back. Search for that article, it might give you some place to start.

It's dependant on which oxygen you're talking about.

I'd go for a Quadro DCC (in actual fact I'd go for a hacked GF3) rather then a standard VX1. But if you're talking dual Glint version of the oxygen then I'd go with that. All comes down to budget, rest of the machine and which software/OS you're considering. For example Max runs incredibly with GF based cards if you use the MAXExtreme software. for example GF3, hacked to a dcc and with maxetreme is quite possibly better then a dual glint oxygen.

If money isn't an issue, go with a Wildcat 5110.

Wildcat is a stonking card, just not worth the extra cash for some applications (like I said you won't gain much over a quadro dcc in 3DS Max), but pro engineer will show a massive improvement.
