performance on a geforce2 mx

is there any performance increase by replacing my old creative riva tnt with a aopen geforce2 mx in my pII 300 mhz?is it worth? would the T&L engine of the geforce2 increase the fps in quake3, max payne, soldier of fortune ..etc..

Of course there'll be some performance increase, but with only a 300MHz CPU, it probably won't be as much as you'll want. I can't give you hard numbers though, maybe someone else can dig some up. But if you can't afford a new proc and mobo, then getting the new card will help some.
