My computer freezes with a long beeeep. I cant touch any buttons to get out I have to turn off or reset button. I have a Pentium 4 1.8 with Intel D850GB Mobo, 512 MB RDRAM, Asus Geforce 3, SB Live 5.1 X-Gamer all my drivers are up to date and I have had this problem since 98 se me and now xp. I was thinking it could be the ram but i do not know. I need help

are you in windows when it freezes. When you installed ME and The XP did you reformat or install over the top.

Try reseating all of your hardware and cables.

Does the machine crash in windows or on boot up. Pls provide more info on the crash itself thanks

It freezes in Windows, my BIOS is reset. And all my IRQ are fine. I do a FDISK, make FAT 32, then FORMAT, then install the OS. Everytime I have had Win 98 SE, ME, and now XP. Of all the OS's XP handles IRQ the best. I think it is ram is there a RAM TEST PROGRAM for RDRAM??? Thanks for help.
