I'm planning to buy a used, cheap, but decent laptop, and I found a laptop from a co-worker of a friend. He said these were the specs:

Brand: HP, 15" LCD screen
Intel dual core (probably 1.8 ghz or less)
3 GB ram
500 GB HD

The guy isn't a techie so when I asked him about the processor speed, he doesn't know. But he said it can run AutoCAD 2010. Fine, for some 2d drawings, but will it work for 3d?

But my real question is: Will this laptop run fine on say, some 3d games (call of duty,x-men origins, assassin's creed, etc.) and will it run like a core 2 duo with, like <2GB ram? I haven't seen it, but i refuse to try if it's too low for my needs. He priced it at around 300+ dollars (I'm in the philippines, I just converted :D ), am I getting the "bang for the buck"?
