video card temps?

how do i find out what my video cards core temp is? some guy said he uses nvmax to tell the temps, but i cant find out how. also, when anadack (i think thats how u spell it) did there geforce 3 review, they told all the core temps, so is there software that tells you?

here in southern california, you can pick one up at fry's electronics...
they also have many a number of things...like ram sinks, blue orbs, thermal grease, thermal pads, thermo-electric conductors, and other cooling devices.
but you should be able to just pick up a thermal probe for cheap at an electronic store...
