Dismal 2d performance?

Ok, my 3d is flying (more or less). However, recently I noticed the performance of my 3d flower screensaver. I was absolutely shocked and disappointed. It moves slower on my pc then it does on this p3-450 with an SIS video card(at work). Any ideas?

My PC:

Tbird 1.2@1.33ghz
Asus GeForce 2 MX
256 pc133 ram
sb live value
quantum 7200 rpm ata100 hd.

Screen savers are interesting things, and they depend more on the OS and how much stuff you are running over the amount of Graphics card you have. How many programs are you running when the screen saver goes on, and how much Ram do you have?

If it works for you then don't fix it.
