anyone seen the new intel commercial yet? Gay assed aliens looking at stuff, they find the Penitum4 and all of a sudden their ship goes like 234058089x faster and crap. More bullshitz from the Intel Marketing team.

Heh. I'm sheltered.

I've yet to see one ntel commercial with the blue guys in it. I've heard about them all over the net, and seen static pictures on the news sites. My corner of America must have banned all of them...

Why does Intel make commercials anyway? I mean who on the planet hasn't heard the word "Pentium" yet?

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

My grandfather who lives in Bulgaria and herds sheep/owns a farm hasn't even heard of a computer;).

Ok, let me repharse that. Who in the industrialized world (where the commericals are seen) hasn't heard of the word "Pentium" yet?

"hasn't even heard of a computer"

*whew*

I don't know about that one. I could definately live without telephones; probably cars too; I'm kinda iffy on power tools. But I don't know what the heck I'd do without the Icewind Dale to retreat too....

I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds clever. Isn't that what marketing is all about?

Well, my friend had a cousin that lived in Bolivia, and when he came down here he freaked out. Didn't know what a TV was, computer scared the hell out of him, and so did video games.

Hmmmm...

Was the guy freaked out by the vehicle he rode in too? (plane, train, auto)
Or did he hoof it?

(Grizely, I wish you would fix your sig. It's messing up the horizontal capacity of every thread you post in)

I'm looking at buying an early 90's Subaru Imprezza with twin turbos. Apparently it can take a Viper off the line :)

Intel does have really bad ads. A lot of leading companies have bad ads because they can't afford to offend anybody. Look at Coke and McDonalds. They have plain ads featuring plain stuff like clowns, bears, and music. The smaller companies have way better ads that take pot shots at the bigger companies. Pepsi and Burger King do taste tests against Coke and McDonalds because they are the standards like Intel. BTW I like Pepsi and Burger King better but somehow eat at Micky D's more often and since they have Coke I end up drinking Coke even though I like Pepsi better. WTF?

Here I'll solve both of your problems, get a 42" plasma monitor and then it will fit and you won't have to maximize your browser. See I make a good ombudsman.

If my resolution was the same, it wouldn't make any difference. The words would be bigger, but not any different in perspective to the screen.
