Need advice

Hello,
i need some advice in purchasing a new laptop

i am looking at either sager np2240 with stock core i5 3230 parts and lenovo t430 i5 3210.

which one would be better for virtualization - vmware virtual - linux OS and server 2008/2012. also considering which one would be sturdy enough as i will be carrying it most in my bag commuting

if you could also suggest one preferably 14" core i5/i7 / amd equivalent under $700.
