Hi,
I have the Dlink 800ap+ and can't seem to get it to work as an access point.
I've tried calling support but they were useless. I'm starting to think
it's gone bad or something. I'm trying to connect it to my work laptop,
which I can't adapt to wireless for business reasons, but no luck accessing
the internet. Every time I connect the laptop to the AP, it does not get
access. I've also tried it with my desk top computers and got the same
results.

Couple of things to check before you send this unit back. The 800+ is
very particular about what it will comunicate with, as far as I know
(and I have one of these units working) they will only connect with
Dlink equipment. You will have to make sure that your wireless
equipment is compatable, check Dlink's website for a list. As far as
connecting to the unit you have to make sure that the PC you are
connecting with is in the same IP range as the 800+ ie: 192.168.0.XX
and Subnet 255.255.255.0 Hope this helps
