Does anybody know what the normal operating temperature range is for the GeForce3? I couldn't find any spec sheets on NVidia's site.

I just bought an Asus card and their little temperature utility shows it at 59C. I looked and the fan is turning and has an RPM reading in their monitor app as well. I haven't been playing any games, just poking around in windows. Neither the card, the card's memory, or my cpu are overclocked.

It bothers me that the GPU is hotter than my CPU (1.333 athlon).

Hi, I have the Asus V8200 Deluxe GF3 I run it at 220/500;all the time and my temps are 50c-52c; 52c when I game, what makes a very big difference is your case temp and air flow. I even had my GF3 OC to 245/560 and it ran at 52c and the memory was at 32c I think..
I have a 92mm 50cfm intake fan on my side panel that blows right on my GF3 and other cards, my case temp depends on how hot the room is. But 59c is a bit hot.. It would do your computer some good to add some more cooling, and it's cheap and very easy. But I think 59c is too high a temperature even when gaming.
