i have a laptop with a hdmi innput put i dnt know how to find the source to ply ps3 on it i hve connected it to to the ps3 i put on the ps3 but it wnt wor.help.please.

If I read you right...you are hooking up a ps3 to your laptop to play on the screen?
If so, you cannot do that the hdmi is for going from the laptop to a big screen tv...

^+1 An hdmi connector on a laptop is much more likely to be an output than an input.

Are you positive it is HDMI input and not HDMI output?

The only laptops that I heard of which had HDMI input were from Alienware. I'm not sure if any of their current models that HDMI input though.
