i have the 32 mb of the v7700 deluxe. as a graphics card it performs great. it was only 20 bukcs more than the pure card and actually the only reason i got it was because they were out of the pure for that week. the quality of computer to tv for dvd isn't that great but that might be able to be corrected with a shielded cable i'm told(although the same cable works just fine for my decoder card to tv). i haven't used it for video editing yet but i plan to one day, maybe you can e-mial me how well it wokrs for video editing if you end up buying it.

repeat after me, we are all individuals!

ok, cool...does anyone know of any basic GeForce2 GTS Chipset card that are inexpensive?? i plan on doing video editing, but with a DC and firewire..im not gonna do any analog stuff..so, i guess i want just a basic video card with a GeForce2 GTS chipset...

If you are going to do DV editing, video card has nothing to do with it, but just to display what you are editing. So there is no "speed limit" in what you can get. If you are going to play lots of games, yeah, get GTS or Radeon, otherwise "save a buck or two" ;)

Post, we'll do the "search"...
